    Dear BB_Eraya,

First of all I do appreciate you and other moderators efforts to stand behind and defend the game, and this is the hardest job on the project as you are well aware of, no question about it.

I'm not trying to compile what others are saying, and in the end that's not even important what the players complain about as (some of) you guys are active players too, playing and testing the game from the start, and I'm 100% positive you guys do know every inch of the maps, every issue, every loophone of the game.

If for some reason you don't know "everything" I'm afraid to say you are not great but mediocre, even lousy moderators.

If, for some reason (the game beeing free to play), the game is not rentable/profitable to be maintained properly and efficiently you should point that out loud and clear.

Some of us really like the game (potential), we met many nice peepz playing too, but I'm afraid to say a lot of old and strong players quit, abandoned the game, and a lot of guys are very close to do the same. The worst thing is majority of players have paused playing or playing at the min "just to keep in touch" with other players, "waiting" for you guys to resolve issues and make this game playable, even enjoyable.

    The clock is ticking!

If you don’t change the way you treat us, keeping us in dark, not sharing anything, pretending that you upgraded the game & fixed the bugs, continue to act ignorantly, this will collapse soon.

What I suggest for the start is that you say how it really is in general, and after that to propose the ways out, to give us 100% realistic timeline of activities, and please do not fool us anymore.

This is probably the last shot you have to keep the community you have been building in last few years. Not a warning, it’s a fact.

    Regards

    Dear BB_Eraya,

please consider this a strictly positive critic although few positive facts are being mentioned.

I play this game for quite a long time (but not since it’s beginning), so I’m one of the ‘older’ players. The fact, that, while currently ridden by a huge number of major bugs, where one can consider each of them being game-breaking, a lot of people still play this game since its outset and newer ones try to stay instead of just try to play and leave immediately, proves that this is a game has enormous potential, that has inherited the spirit of its famous turn-based computer game ancestors.

Currently the game is short of being unplayable for advanced players - as Szilike pointed out, the coop battles have been broken by the last patches to a point were it makes no sense to do raids and where expeditions are quite painful once reaching more difficult battles.

I have done 5 or so raid attempts during the last few days and each and every one ended with one member being kicked during coop battle, thus ending the raid. There is no possibility to re-invite a player (that has been original member of a raid) once he involuntarily drops out. While this is a loss of time and effort in expeditions it means an end of the raid most of the time once a player drops out that is needed to do specific specialist battles. Moreover one still loses troops when being kicked, although this has been mentioned hundreds of time.

Losing shortcut bar and initiative bar in coop, being kicked for various unknown reasons dozens of time when you play, say two hours, wrong initiative bar when using faceless that mind-pierce creatures, double-attack of enemy when mind-pierced make an attack that forces the enemy to surrender, soulmark spell that (after almost a year of being mentioned) still goes off being replaced by basic spell, all this and many more bugs are bringing this game to ground slowly but steadily.

You need you old and older players – they help newer ones, give them directions, keep guilds alive and many more. But they need some content – and you refuse to give it or give things that are basically good, but implemented bad (rewards in expeditions, constant reset of expeditions with no possibility to continue at the expense getting those bonuses after a week)).

And worst of all is the big silence. In a year, I have never ever heard any feedback or true information from those who run this game. This is the worst customer to designer/publisher/owner/producer communication I have ever seen in my entire life.

Instead of constantly changing things that work and e.g. detracting spells from the game (last patches) which dumbs the game down – I (and I think a lot of other players) would like to see more new things. You could make us earn earns some spells them by defeating a few superbosses. If you are unable to fix the coop-battle issue then, for the time, you could drop the necessity of doing coops in coop. Or, if this is too complicated, fix that one loses troops when being kicked. Let us re-invite raid members that were kicked.

How about a new map containg very hard battles and quests for Dragon-Knights. And please reconsider the reward system in expeditions. So much effort for so little gain – even the battles give nothing at all – it’s really depressing. And the first 15 or 20 levels are just a boring waste of time – why do we have 3 gates of same complexity? If you want to keep that you could consider a fourth gate that let a guild go higher without reset until the guild leader resets it. There are so many ways to gives us stuff without major input from your side.

Well this went rather long – you see I love the game. Please consider doing something to keep players at it – and please break the big silence.

Since the update the combat system is flawed. sometimes the unit 'moves' but the display of the unit stays in the same location. Very confusing! Also not all attacks are visualized and when not visualized the number of units of the stack you attacked does not go down. Again, it really does go down, the attack counts, but visually the number stays the same. Also very confusing and it makes the battles more difficult because it influences battle planning.

I am so glad they fixed the two scroll bug... It was beyond upsetting trying to figure which scroll to pick the top or bottom.... in fact I spent like 3 hours trying to decide and finally I had to give up and I ended up buying a sanctuary scroll and had to wait 16 hours for it to cool down and then it didn't work and i got all but 2 of my troops killed and i was in town not even in a fight... i found that a bit odd... but that's just how it goes I guess BUT back to the good news now thanks to having to wait five hours (well worth it I might add) I mean you cannot put a time limit on perfection... and that is what we demand and two of the same scrolls... that will just not due... so I am very excited about the fact that Blue Byte took the time to fix what is REALLY important and rectify the ever growing problem of there being two of the same scrolls for sale leaving me as well as many more not knowing which to buy... THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT NEEDED to be fixed and I like others are glad this indeed was solved so now we can go back to being able to buy scrolls without having to sit at the vendor or hours maybe days having to decide WHICH scroll to pick... and we can get back to playing the game that now only allows you NOT to log on but lets you get a session is invalid and lose 5% to 20% of your troops without even having
to actually retreat,, that is what I call automation baby!!!! I am doing my best to contain my excitement over this latest update as I am sure most of you are as well!!! THE only way this could get better is they bring back goblins so and increase my stockpile from 4k to maybe 6k...

I have to set the record straight here. A lot of the "little" fixes that are being made need to be made. I know not a lot of players can appreciate that but it has to be done. The problem is that there are bigger issues with the game performance right now that require more attention and whenever something is supposedly fixed, it either causes more problems or is broke in a new way (sanctuary is the best example). The immediate PvE issues that come to mind (and have already been mentioned here and elsewhere in the forums) are the loss of the shortcut bar and turn indicator bar as well as the improper indication of unit turns, the enemy surrender mechanics (that usually result in lost troops when accepting surrender on your last turn before the enemy or in a double attack from a mind pierced stack that only had 1 round of control left on it), session invalid errors (which also result in troop loss without even entering the battle sometimes), artefact drop rate adjustments in raids / expeditions and heroic tiers and the general balancing of all classes (the might classes are just not on par with the magic ones at the moment).

All of the PvE issues I have mentioned above are issues that are detrimental to players but for the most part are beneficial for the developer since players will need to use up Hero Seals to retry battles because of improper turn indication or the surrender issue. A bug like session invalid is detrimental to all since players lose troops and each ticket submitted just creates a big backlog in the system. The artefact drop rate is a huge demotivation for players since in the case of heroic tiers many players farm resources like mad men / women only to get to the top tier to find out they need to do thousands upon thousands of battles to get a single artefact they like. And what about the player that paid their way to the top tier, I would feel very cheated to get there to see that it takes for ever to get good artefacts. The same has beens said about top level raids. The same goes for expeditions, there is a lot of effort for very little reward especially when you have half the guild working on them.

I believe the way expeditions are set up makes sense because yes there are three gates that are essentially the same but the bonuses are different for winning each gate and the more gates a guild has open, the more "purple" resources they can collect. I have seen suggestions in the forums to make each increasingly harder or allow the guild to start at a higher level each time but the problem with that is that they will miss out on those resources since higher levels have harder fights and take longer to finish. The suggestion that makes the most sense to me is to add drops to each battle and increase the season time frame.

As for the guild province, if a guild works together, it can go pretty quick to get buildings up but I still find they are very expensive with high creature and resource costs.

I quit playing for an entire month due to the removal of life drain and regen scrolls from scribes because without them, my main character, a haven knight just couldn't survive many battles. Then an event came out offering several troops I have wanted since the first event came out last October. With Elders, haven knights are a lot better but the problem is not every player has access to them and future players won't have access to them either unless they come out in an event. I came back for the event and worked for two stacks of elders by fighting many, many event battles and completing the quests on a daily basis. Since there were other troops I liked, I had to work even harder to get a few stacks of those. During the event I had one session invalid that caused me to lose some troops. Then after the event was done, I started doing more battles in expeditions and started doing crystal quests again only to start losing Elders due to Session Invalid errors when I hadn't even entered the battle yet or had just started and hadn't even suffered any casualties yet. So I did all this work to get them, then I lose them due to game issues, submit a support ticket and then have to wait 4-5 days for them to be refunded. I have to wonder why I am still playing and to be honest, if it wasn't for people in the guild, I probably wouldn't be.

Also, as has been mentioned above, communication from the developers has been very minimal to the point that it is non-existent. Szilike's question about flash player becoming obsolete is a good one but has never been answered. I have done a bit of research on the topic and I find it hard to believe that flash is going to go extinct to be honest. Yes support for it is dwindling but Adobe is the one that has dropped the ball on that one and maybe in time they will rectify that problem. Communication is the key to success with anything in life.

Many players stick around because they see the potential of this game and want it to succeed. I know there is a lot of negative feedback but it just goes to show the passion of your player base. Essentially the following statement is how most players regard this game:

This game has a lot of potential but with each new feature added, players either have to invest a lot of time or money into the game if they don't want to take years to progress. The cost of troops in events and guild dwellings are also on the high side and many bugs that force the players to spend seals are not getting fixed, in fact game breaking bugs are getting worse. But bugs that benefit the players like for example when healing bonuses acted like "life drain", it was fixed very quickly but any troops that had vampiric touch, were broken for a very long time before getting fixed. It just seems as though the developer is becoming more greedy. Maybe the cash flow into the game is not sufficient to support it therefore why the game is becoming less and less stable because the developer can't afford to keep it running. And it took 5 hours to make a few minor fixes to the game that didn't work. That begs the question, will the developers be closing the doors on this game in the near future? Well there hasn't been any communication with the players in the form of answering questions or producing a road map so is even further signs of the upcoming Ashan apocalypse? Maybe I should stop supporting the game and just become a casual player until things get better.

It is time to be honest with players and let them know what is going on. I don't expect BlueByte to release a full financial statement about the game but reassuring the players that the game is holding its own and will continue receiving support would go a long way. My experience tells me this game has been mis-managed for a long time. At some point, some serious money has to be spent to keep the game going. I always feel as though the game is at the breaking point where it could succeed but could also fail as well. From reading the comments above and other comments in the forums, I know I am not the only one that feels this way. You do owe it to your players to let them know if the game is on its way to being canceled.

I know this post could possible be removed because it could be construed as "fear-mongering" but this is how players really feel and if something is not done soon to rectify the current outlook players have about the game, this game will continue on a downward spiral and the Void will turn it into nothingness and Sandro will have finally won.
