I wanted to ask why life drain doesn't work when my troops are retaliating in battle? It works fine when im attacking but when deffending it does not work. My ign: Dark_Lord_1

During reciprocating life drain does not work. The spell description is that it only cures in the attack. Only vampires and vampire lords in a revenge restore health, but not to them cast spells life drain.
Was it changed because in youtube gameplay its working?

It clearly works when he put it on Fate Spinner.
Video is from the very old version. With additional patch which have been changed. Specifically, there was a changed ability "Baleful Gaze" is no longer Considered an attack and Fate Spinner therefore no healed.
